Our Testing Process
Our Testing Process
At Purix Peptides, every product goes through a structured quality verification process before it is made available for purchase. Here is a step-by-step look at how we ensure the peptides you receive meet our strict standards.
Step 1: Supplier Qualification
Before we accept any product, we evaluate the manufacturer. We work exclusively with suppliers who follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or equivalent quality systems. Each supplier undergoes an initial audit, and we conduct periodic reviews to ensure continued compliance.
Step 2: Incoming Inspection
When a new batch arrives at our facility, it undergoes an incoming inspection. We verify the packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and physical appearance of the product. Any batch that shows signs of damage, mislabeling, or irregularity is rejected immediately.
Step 3: Independent Third-Party Testing
Every batch is sent to an accredited, independent analytical laboratory for testing. We do not perform purity testing in-house, because we believe independent verification eliminates conflicts of interest. The third-party lab conducts the following analyses:
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC): Determines the purity of the peptide by separating its components and measuring their concentrations.
- Mass Spectrometry (MS): Confirms the molecular identity of the peptide by measuring its molecular weight.
- Endotoxin Testing (where applicable): Screens for bacterial endotoxins that could compromise research results.
Step 4: COA Review and Approval
Once the lab returns the Certificate of Analysis, our quality team reviews the results against our acceptance criteria. Our minimum purity threshold is 98%, and many products exceed 99%. If a batch does not meet our standards, it is rejected and returned to the supplier.
Step 5: Storage and Inventory
Approved batches are stored in our temperature-controlled facility under conditions appropriate for each product. We monitor storage conditions continuously to ensure product stability throughout its shelf life.
Step 6: Order Fulfillment
When you place an order, your peptides are picked, inspected one final time, and packaged with insulated cold-chain materials. Each shipment includes or references the applicable COA so you have documentation from the moment your order arrives.
All products sold by Purix Peptides are intended for laboratory and research use only. Not for human consumption.
